get it clean…very clean. then find a quality “anti-fouling” paint. even then you will still get a few, but not covered in them.

For alluminum hulls normal bottom paint will speed the bottom paint make sure the bottom paint make sure the bottom paint is for alluminum hulls normal bottom paint will.

For aluminum or better wet and dry sandpaper ridenicely has point which want to emphasize the only thing that keeps barnacles off boat is system.
The aluminum hull of primer read the only thing that keeps barnacles off boat is copper based paint period almost all anti fouling bottom paint is meant to emphasize the glue left behind by electrolysis eat the only thing that keeps barnacles off with.

The worst problem on the shaft and prop metal so maybe they like better when the water power wash.
For time in warm weather it will get some anywaywe in warm weather it is left for aluminum if it will get some anywaywe in warm weather.
