Product DescriptionThis econometric study covers the world outlook for inflatable boats, life rafts and pontoons for over 200 countries. For each year reported estimates are given for the latent demand, or potential industry earnings (PIE), for the country in question (in millions of U.S. dollars), the percent share the country and the region and the world. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly assess a country vis-à-vis others. On the basis of econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each country and in all countries, latent demand estimates are created. This report does not address the specific players in the market serving latent demand, or specific information on the product level. The study does not consider cyclicalities short term could affect sales. The study is strategic in nature and with a comprehensive and long term, irrespective of the players or products involved. This study does not report actual sales data (which is unavailable, similar or consistent manner in virtually all 230 countries in the world). This study gives, however, my appreciation for the latent demand in the world, or slabs, rafts, floats and life rafts. It also shows how the pie is distributed between all regional and national markets in the world. For each country, I also show my appreciation of how the pie is growing over time, growth (positive or negative). To make these estimates, a multi-stage method has been used as often taught in courses on international strategic planning at schools specialization of firms.
